Population screening

Population screening is a preventive medical examination to detect diseases at an early stage in people without symptoms, so that treatment is more effective and complications can be prevented. Examples include breast, cervical and colon cancer screening. Participation is usually voluntary and targeted at specific age or risk groups.

Self-test for HPV

The self-test allows you to participate in the screening programme at home. It is a simple way to check whether you have HPV.

Population screening

To prevent specific diseases or detect them early, there are population screening programmes that you can participate in voluntarily and free of charge.
