Mitz. Decide for yourself who can access your medical records.

Our general practice uses Mitz, a national, secure, and user-friendly online environment in which u You decide which healthcare providers are allowed to view and share your medical data. This includes the pharmacy, GP practice or medical specialists. This can be important in order to u to be able to help you well and quickly. Your details will only be shared if u have given your explicit consent.

Why is consent important?

Healthcare providers sometimes need access to your medical information in order to u to be able to provide the right care. For example, in an emergency situation or when u are unable to provide information yourself. However, we are not permitted to share your data without your consent. Thanks to Mitz, you can u easily arrange this yourself.

What if you have already given your consent?

Have u Have you previously given permission to share your medical data via the LSP (National Exchange Point), for example via a form or via Volgjezorg? Then that permission remains valid, even if your data is shared via another system. You can revoke this permission. u view or edit via MyMitz.nl.

How does Mitz work?

Via MyMitz.co.uk logs u Log in securely with DigiD. U immediately see which healthcare providers u have given permission and u You can change this at any time. Only your consent choices are stored in Mitz – your medical data itself is not stored here. Your choices are valid immediately and u always remains in control.
